Calimera Ralitsa Superior Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive Plus Aquapark

This hotel is both clean and comfortable. Food is varied, although not always hot. Family orientated, but I found little to do in the evening. Be very mindful of the 3 hr journey from the airport, should you have young kids with you. Best place is the beach ⛱️

Sectorul K is an old annex building with small and not refurbished rooms that have no fridge. Air cooler is old&unclean (bad smell). Bathroom is really small. Hotel and al rooms, including those in K sector, are presented as 4* rooms but those rooms in sector K actually have no more than 2* (see the pictures). So, I paid for 4* room and I received a 2* room. This kind of doing business is really unfair and tricky. Food and swimming-pools are ok, and the garden si large.

The travel agency sold us rooms with the name: Superior Sector K in this place. We didn't even think about the hell we were going to go through on our so-called vacation. The hotel is classified 4 stars and it was explained to us that we actually booked economy/budget rooms. According to international standards, rooms of this type are, and I quote: "they have the same facilities as standard rooms, but they can be located on the ground floor or in disadvantaged areas of the hotel, with a smaller area and/or without a balcony." We received rooms that could not even be classified as 2 stars, without refrigerator, hair dryer with a tiny bathroom, dirty, smelly, like we used to see in the 90s. I noticed with amazement after 2 days that they did not come to clean, they only emptied the trash bin in the room without changing towels or using a mop. Good, I understood that I booked and received economy and non-renovated rooms, but still I was in a 4-star complex, not in a student dormitory. The services provided were supposed to be ultra all inclusive and we have a contract where it was stipulated that we would receive beach towels. When we got there they said we would have to pay 2 leva for the towel and every time we needed to change it+ a cash deposit They argued that the policy changed as per new government regulations in Albena. We said ok, we will abide by it but at the beach we spoke with another tourist that booked a standard room and received beach cards for towels for free!!! We were lied to, treated as possible offenders for a difference of only 20 eur per room per night! It is unacceptable for tourists to be treated with such distain and indifference and we will make this situation known on all possible forums!

I recently stayed at the Calimera Ralitsa Superior and had a wonderful experience. The highlight of our stay was definitely the aqua park, which was a fantastic treat for our child. The park had numerous slides and water features that kept the kids entertained for hours. One of the most convenient aspects was the shuttle bus service to the beach. Not only was the bus service free, but so were the sunbeds, which made our beach days incredibly relaxing and stress-free. Additionally, I must commend Evgeni, the general manager. He was exceptionally attentive and went out of his way to ensure all guests had a pleasant stay. His dedication and professionalism truly stood out and contributed greatly to our overall experience. I highly recommend Calimera Ralitsa Superior for families looking for a fun and convenient vacation spot.

Our stay at Ralitsa Superior was wonderful. The peaceful and relaxing atmosphere immediately won us over. The gardens were well-maintained, and we appreciated the numerous eco-friendly initiatives promoted in Albena . The hotel have Aqua Park, you can easily access with your all inclusive bracelets, combining luxury with fun. Calimera Ralitsa is a perfect choice for those seeking a refined and relaxing holiday experience!

The time we spent here was a true delight. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and the food in the restaurant exceeded our expectations with its rich flavors and variety. The delicious vegetarian and vegan options were also impressive and well-prepared. The pasta and pizza were extremely tasty, and the bar offered great cocktails and a cozy atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool party, which created unforgettable memories. The cleanliness of the hotel made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. This was a vacation we will remember with pleasure.

Our vacation here was simply magnificent. Every morning began with a fresh and varied breakfast, including fresh fruits and many delicious options. The dinners at the restaurant were a true gastronomic feast, with excellent meat and fish dishes, as well as incredibly well-prepared pasta. The vegan and vegetarian offerings were extremely tasty, making the experience even more special. One of the highlights of our stay was the free water park, where we spent unforgettable hours having fun. The bar was the perfect place for an evening cocktail, and the service was always on point. The cleanliness of the hotel contributed to our peace and comfort.

... I don't know how to start... I'll try from the beginning. The reception: It was a booking done through our agency kind of late because it was a late decision. We booked two rooms: one for two adults and two children and one for one adult. In the meantime we decided to bring one more adult so when we got to the reception we had to upgrade one room to two adults. There was one kind receptionist who helped us, but.... She charged us with the full amount of a double room disregarding that we already paid for a single room for one person, although we told her that, she acknowledged because she said the price is for one person and after a 12 hour trip with 2 hours at the border, we paid. On our fourth day we started to have doubts that the amount paid for one more adult is correct and we approached another receptionist with our issue and she told us that she can do nothing because "it is already done" and "the money is already in the bank" 😅. She started an dispute with the receptionist that sold us the extra stay at the beginning in Bulgarian but than the initial receptionist told us that the price was for one person in a double room (overriding what the other receptionist was saying and the reality). After a while I told her that the pricing list show clearly that the price is for a double room, not for one person but she was holding her position that is the price for one person in the room. The pricing list from the reception was clearly (as in any hotel in the world) showing the prices for the whole rooms and the number of persons that can stay (2 adults, 2 adults 1 child, etc.) I made a calculation showing the receptionist that if what she saying is true than a room for 4 person should be the price of a 7 star hotel in Dubai (she was still keeping her ground). After a few more arguments from my side, she somehow said that it is not her fault the prices are like this and said she will see what is there to be done. - in my eyes this was a scamming situation, which in 2023 is a little bit to much. At the moment I'm writing this, I'm still waiting for a resolution to get my money back. The room: Good mattress, and clean sheets. Dirty floor Dirty bathroom "Cleaned" daily Ok furniture 4 nights no new sheets The hotel: Old building complex but kind of well kept Nice pools (didn't use) I don't care about activities for children and/or adults because we came for the beach and sea , not amusement at the hotel, but there aren't many. The food: Not much to pick A lot of stews (pork or chicken) Cheap fish dishes Out of season but they can't keep with demand for grill/pizza/eggs. The stuff: Besides the one receptionist (scamming one) which was good looking and nice behaving everyone was sad looking and rude, with special mentions for the bar personnel which passed any rudeness limit a few to many times. Conclusion: If you wanted a stay in Albena and there was nothing else to choose from (as it happened with us) it will do (no more than 3
